SURA NEXT SCHEDULE @ THOOTHUKUDI

We all know that Ilayathalapathy Vijay is currently busy shooting for his next movie SURA. Shooting had been going on near Pondichery for the past 23  Days and the schedule gets over by tomorrow after which the crew will be on a break for 2 days.

And news is that the next schedule of shooting is said to commence by this weekend at Thoothukudi where some important action scenes has been planned to shot and preferably some scenes have been planned to be shot in the night .Vijay seems to be working really hard for this movie and he is busy shooting continuously over the last week and even it goes the same way next week with a break for jus 2 days. This time again Sun pictures will make it over the distribution areas which is a major plus for the movie apart from the movie being a special one for vijay since its being his 50th one.

SUN TAKES UP VIJAY’S SURA

After the astounding success of Vettaikaran, Sun Pictures have once again decided to procure the rights of a Vijay film – Sura. The film shooting is currently progressing in Pondicherry and plans are afoot to travel to foreign countries to can the songs.

Sura is due for an April release. With the shooting of the film almost half way through, Sun Pictures have jumped in to procure the rights.

Sura is directed by SP Rajkumar. It has Tamannah pairing up with the Iayathalapathy.

Popular actor Vijay tops the list of names recommended from Tamil Nadu for the Padma awards to be announced on Monday, the eve of Republic Day. "About 20 names have been recommended from Tamil Nadu. One-third of the nominees will be selected for various categories of Padma awards like Padma Sri, Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan," a senior official of the home ministry dealing with the awards told Deccan Chronicle. The Congress has been wooing Vijay for quite sometime to join the party to give it a new lease of life in the state. The official, not wanting to be quoted, said Dr Pratap C. Reddy of the Apollo group of hospitals and D.R. Karthikeyan, CBI's ex-director, were also being considered.

Sarath ‘1977' is an action-packed movie with a strong message for the society. I was impressed when I heard the storyline and readily agreed to do the movie’ he said. Actor Sarath Kumar was recently shooting for his new film 1977 with debutant director G.N.Dinesh Kumar.The film has Sarath Kumar cast in double roles. He plays father and son in this action-packed film.Plans are on to release ‘1977' in April, 2008.

Finally, it’s confirmed as Sarath Kumar himself reveals the news. Sarath Kumar’s long awaited ‘Jaggubhai’ will hit the screens on December 11.Produced by Raadan Media Network and Zee Motion Pictures, the film is directed by K.S. Ravikumar. Though the filming was completed much prior to KSR’s other project ‘Aadhavan’, the movie couldn’t make its way on the screens due to some unavoidable issues.But now, the actor has planned to release the film on Dec 11 and screen as many shows as possible as the following weekend will have the big ticket ‘Vettaikaran’ hitting screens.
