Eva Longoria is dwarfed by her own birthday cake at lavish Vegas bash

Eva Longoria celebrated her 36th birthday in style last night when she threw a huge party in Las Vegas.

A host of big Vegas names turned out to the red-carpet event at Eva’s own Vegas nightclub, Eve.

The pint-sized Desperate Housewives star was almost over-shadowed by her own decadent, pink birthday cake, which towered next to the actress as she took to the mic to thank her guests.

Adorned with flowers and a giant ‘Happy Birthday Eva’, the cake was a gift from NUVO Sparkling Liqueur, of which Eva is the spokesperson for.

Eva was joined by a string of celebrity guests who included Saved By The Bell star, Mario Lopez and his dance partner wife, Courtney Laine Mazza.

But one name who did appear to be missing the bash was Eva’s 26-year-old boyfriend, Eduardo Cruz.

Eduardo and Eva had celebrated her big day at Disneyland with friends and family just three days before, and were spotted hugging and kissing.

The Vegas bash was just one of a string of birthday celebrations that Eva has celebrated in the last week. Her actual birthday was on Tuesday and she gleefully kicked-off the celebrations with a 1920’s style flapper party.

Eduardo and Eva were seen canoodling together amongst fellow celebrity guest, who included Eduardo’s sister, Penelope Cruz, and her Oscar-winning husband, Javier Bardem.

A source told People magazine: ‘Eva and Eduardo were so cute. They were kissing and making out all night. He's so genuine.’

Other celebs at Tuesday’s bash included Heidi Klum, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, but none of them were seemingly able to make the big Vegas bash last night.

Another close friend who was missing in action was Victoria Beckham. But the pregnant Spice Girl was quick to wish Eva many happy returns on Monday when she tweeted: ‘Happy Birthday!! Lots of love, Victoria, David, Brooklyn, Romeo and cruz!!!!! X vb’

But Eva clearly had the time of her life at the stylish Sin City bash as she laughed and joked with her guests.

Eva said: ‘I love Vegas. I’ve celebrated my birthdays here before, and I plan to have a lot of fun this time around.

Bravely referencing her recent split from basketball star, Tony Parker, she added: ‘I’m single again, starting over with a rebirth, and there’s no better place than Vegas to party.'
