The Kollywood grapevine has it that Vijay’s 50th film Sura is a remake of Mohanlal’s mass masala entertainer Chotta Mumbai, directed by Anwar Rasheed.
Meanwhile, Vijay is keeping an extremely low profile, after his short lived attempt to launch political party with the help of Congress and Vettaikaran not releasing for Diwali. He is also not seen at Kollywood events.
At the same time, he has thrown himself on his work as Sura shoot on a huge fishing village set in Alleppy beach in Kerala is over. The unit has now moved to Marakkanam fishing village near Villipuram in Tamil Nadu.
