VIJAY act REMAKE OF 3 IDIOTS?

Ever since Gemini Film Circuit bought the Telugu and Tamil remake rights of 3 Idiots from Vidhu Vinod Chopra, there is widespread anticipation about the lead roles. In Kollywood, rumours suggest that actor Vijay will play the role of Aamir Khan in the Tamil version. Madhavan has already made it clear that he is open to reprise his role in Tamil as well. There are rumours that the Billa director Vishnuvardhan will direct the Tamil version. Sources say that Vijay would do Aamir's role in the movie. Vishnu has been having a bad outing ever since his ‘Sarvam’ starring Arya and Trisha bombed at the box office. He would hope to revive his record with the remake of ‘3 Idiots’. Sources say that Vishnu will modify the subject according to tastes of the Tamil audience.


3 Idiots is the highest grossing Hindi film in Tamil Nadu, where it has managed to gross a record Rs. 1.65 crore from 22 screens in its very first week. National wide, the film is said to have grossed about Rs. 240 crore in just 10 days
