Did you happen to meet any of your Tamil crewmembers while on the Gajini shoot? I met Vijay accidently in a lift at Ramoji Rao Studios. After initial pleasantries he asked me if he could visit the Gajini sets. I was shocked and invited him personally to the sets and introduced him to Aamir. To my surprise, Aamir immediately recognized him and said that he is a fan of Vijay and his dance. He also recollected how he and his wife would be glued to his songs on TV while in Chennai. Aamir also met Manobala during that occasion and remembered him from Gajini. Those ten days are unforgettable in my life. I also met Thotta Dharani in one of the Telugu film sets. Vijay resume Velayutham...

Vijay who has recently completed shooting of his movie Kaavalan with Asin But Kaavalan Team is To Go European countries for a song involving Vijay and asin.

Vijay has moved in to the 2nd schedule shooting of his next movie Velayudham.

Velayudham directed by Jayam Raja feauture vijay,Genilia,hanshikha mothwani..

As per sources shooting is currently going on in Pollachi and it will be continued for 20 days.

Vijay To Remake Brindhavanam

Last Friday 'Brindhavanam' starring Junior NTR was released and was declared a success. As soon as the news reached Kollywood, the game started.

Recently, a special screening of Brindavanam was organized for Ilaya Thalapathi Vijay In city preview on Saturday with his family and close friends. After the film Vijay was all smiles which connoted a lot of things.

Does that mean it is Vijay who will play in ‘Brindavanam’ in Tamil? The film has a very entertaining plot with all Action, Comedy and Romantic elements

The movie also features Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha and Prakash Raj in the leads. Besides direction, Vamsi Paidipalli has penned the story and screenplay, Chota K Naidu has handled the camera, Thaman has scored the music, Ram-Lakshman have choreographed the stunts and the movie is produced by Dil Raju.

Vijay’s Kaavalan is gearing up for release and the star has moved on to Velayudham full swing. Apart from these two films, Vijay is in talks with one of Bala’s assistants as he liked the script narrated to him. This project may take off provided other important things work out for both the debut director as well as the actor.

Then there is Pagalavan, which was announced a long time ago but was shelved with Seeman in prison for being involved in various political issues. This project may also take off soon, it is said.

இதைத் தொடர்ந்து உடனடியாக மலர் மருத்துவமனையில் அச்சிறுவன் சேர்க்கப்பட்டான். சிறுவனுக்கு ஆபரேஷன் செய்தால் பல லட்சங்கள் செலவாகும் என்று டாக்டர்கள் கூறினார்.

செலவை விஜய் ஏற்றுக் கொள்வதாக அறிவி்த்திருந்ததால் சிறுவனுக்கு உடனடியாக சிகிச்சை தொடங்கப்பட்டது. பெரிய அறுவைச் சிகிச்சை மூலம் சிறுவன் உயிர் பிழைத்தான்.

சிகிச்சை முடிந்ததும் காவலன் படப்பிடிப்பிலிருந்த விஜய்யைச் சந்தித்து சிறுவன் நன்றி தெரிவித்தான். விஜய்க்கு, சிறுவனின் பெற்றோரும் நன்றி தெரிவித்தனர்.

Hopes On Vijay-Seeman pagalvan

Seeman who was put in prison for his pro-Tamil public speeches in Chennai is expected to be released soon. His case is coming up for hearing on October 24 and Seeman loyalists are more than positive that their leader will be released.

More over, Seeman is said to have completed the script of ‘Pagalavan’ even while in prison. In the film Vijay will show his anger against the non-performing system which is glitter out side but rotten inside.

Seeman’s fiery true to life dialogues will have radical messages needed for today’s youth. ‘Pagalavan’ is going to be milestone film for Vijay according to people who follow the project closely.

Kalaipuli S Thanu is producing the film and it is going to be a mega production true to his reputation.

‘Kavalan’: The magic of Tantra

Tantra Films, one of the popular distributors of Tamil movies in countries abroad, has acquired the FMS (foreign management screening) rights of Vijay starrer ‘Kavalan’, which is getting ready for a December release.

Although many of the national and regional markets are yet to make business, what with the not-so-enthusiastic performance of Vijay’s previous films, international market has already been sold out. Tantra Films has fetched the movie for Rs 6 crore to be released outside India.

It’s also learnt that the Kerala rights of Kaavalan has been sold at 1.5 crore to Thameens Films. Though Kaavalan is a remake of the Malayalam hit Bodyguard, the Vijay craze among the fans in Kerala has done the magic.

For those who want to know more about Saravana, he is one of the co-producers of ‘Chennai 600028’, the Venkat Prabhu directorial venture which set a new trend in Kollywood.

Meanwhile, sources in ‘Kavalan’ unit say Vijay is leaving no stone unturned to make the film a blockbuster. “The last schedule of the shooting is currently on and Vijay, with the help of Siddique, is monitoring each and every aspect of the film. He moves on to the next scene only after double checking it on the monitor”.

They add: “The film has shaped up well by Siddique. The Vijay-Vadivelu duo will set the screen on fire with their terrific on-screen chemistry, which would be visible after Friends, Vaseegara and Bhagavathy”

AJITH TO DIRECT VIJAY

Ram Gopal Varma is producing a new bi-lingual movie which will be directed by his assistant Ajith. The film is yet to be titled but according to sources, it will be shot in Hindi and Tamil simultaneously. Talks are on to decide the technical crew and support cast of the movie. Sources also claim that actor Vijay will be featuring in the Tamil version as the lead actor.


While Akshay Khanna will be the hero in the Hindi version, Ajith has decided to cast Nadodigal star 'Ananya' as the heroine alongside Vijay. Watch this space for more details and updates of the movie.

Vijay: Caught 'unaware'

All of us know that Ilaiyathalapathy Vijay's forthcoming flick Kaavalan's title was changed twice but not many know that Vijay himself was not aware of one of the changes

"Right from the beginning, the title of the film was a big problem. In fact, I myself don't know who kept the title Kaaval Kadhal. Suddenly, it was all over the place. But now that the title is Kaavalan, I feel a positive vibe," gushes the star.

Vijay is also delighted that he's teaming up with Vaigai Puyal Vadivelu and director Siddique in the film. " After Friends, I'm really glad to work with the duo again. The comedy track with Vadivelu was a big hit in Friends and I still laugh whenever the scenes from the film are shown on TV. I especially love the scene where the hammer falls on Vadivelu's head. Our timing in the film was just perfect. I just hope that we repeat the same magic in Kaavalan too," enthuses the actor.

Shankar-vijay 3 idiots to roll

After the non-stop appreciations that are pouring in director Shankar is planning a well deserved break and will be flying to an overseas destination soon. His ten year dream 'Endhiran' has given him a new found status in Indian cinema and Shankar is enjoying every moment of it.

Now after 'Endhiran' what? After returning from his holidays Shankar will start working in the south Indian remake of '3 Idiots'. The stars are finally confirmed after many speculations from media and the pre-production work has already started.

Vijay was the first one to be confirmed to play Aamir's role. After that Shankar finalised Jeeva and Siddharth to play the other two main roles. Now only the female role played by Kareena is the only one waiting for the casting.

The official announcement of the film launch is expected to happen as soon as Shankar returns from his holidays.

Kaavalan in Decemer 24?

Looks like December will witness a bevy of movie releases. Vijay’s Kaavalan will hit the marquee on December 24th, 2010.
