Shankar sir is not just a great director, he is a good actor too,” says Jiiva, who is working with the filmmaker for the first time in ‘Nanban’, a remake of Aamir Khan’s ‘Three Idiots’.
“He makes our job easy by performing each and every scene before going for shoot. Anyone could become a great actor by just delivering what he does,” the ‘Ko’ star says.
On Vijay, the other protagonist of the film, Jiiva says, “He would silently watch and enjoy all the mischief we do on sets. Within days we became good friends and all of us are having a blast.”
With Srikanth playing the other lead role, ‘Nanban’, produced by Gemini, is fast taking shape. Heroine is Ileana and Sathyaraj plays her father. Music is by Harris Jayaraj, who had earlier worked with Shankar in ‘Anniyan’
