Now that his Karthi-Tamannahstarrer ‘Paiya’ is nearing
completion, Lingusamy is
getting ready for the next. The hero of the film
is none other than Vijay, who is currently acting
in ‘Sura’ in the direction of S P Rajakumar.
Says Lingusamy, “I am penning a story for
Vijay, which would touch new heights in action
genre. Plans are on to make the movie in a
grand scale by making use of all latest technical
advancements.”
On reports he would direct Chiranjeevi’s son
Ramcharan Teja, the filmmaker says, “Yes. I
am also planning to direct Ramcharan. His
performance in ‘Magadheera’ is simply
stunning. I have narrated two stories to him.”
Ask him about ‘Paiya’, he says, “it is a
travelogue kind of action adventure. Karthi
starts a journey from Bangalore to Mumbai
along with Tamannah. The hurdles they face
during their trip and they overcome everything
is ‘Paiya’ to you.
