The delay in the release of his maiden film has not dampened the spirits of Babu Sivan. The ‘Vettaikkaran’ director is optimistic about the movie’s success and says, “Vijay and the script will be the two highlights of the film.”
The debutant director, who promises that ‘Vettaikkaran’ will be a completely commercial movie, with great songs, action sequences and a message, adds: “I am really excited. It is such an honour to work for an AVM production starring Vijay as hero. His appeal and reach are just amazing.”
And his excitement is double while talking about the acquisition of the film by Sun Pictures. “Everyone knows about the marketing strategy of Sun. It is no doubt an added advantage to Vettaikkaran”, he says.
“The crew has a strong contingent of technicians, including cinematographer Ravivarman, music director Vijay Antony, art director Milan and editor V T Vijayan. Vijay is an actor par excellence. So, I am sure about the success of Vettaikkaran,” signs of Babu Sivan.
