Ilayathalapathy Vijay will start the first schedule of director Siddique’s remake in Chennai from Thursday, April 1 in chennai The only common factor between the Malayalam and Tamil version is writer and director Siddique, who has made some minor changes in the Tamil version to suit Vijay’s image. Vijay will play the role done by Dileep while Asin is going to do Nayanthara’s role in the Malayalam original Thyagarajan who had a pivotal role has been replaced by Raj Kiran in the Tami version National award winning music director Ouseappachan’s replacement for the Tamil version is Vidyasagar. S Kumar who was the cameraman in the Malayalam version has been replaced by ace cameraman and Vijay’s current favourite Ekambaram who has also done the actor’s Sura.
Vadivelu gives Vijay company in the comedy dapartment along with MS Bhaskar,lyrics of the song is done by pa.vijay,kabilan,yugabharathi,snehan.
