Just look at highly skilled professionals with H1B's stuck in companies and jobs for *years* with uncertainty where they cannot freely participate in the economic development and progress of this country. They are, for all practical purposes, tied to the yoke until their Green Cards are available. They are indentured labor because of retrogression and backlogs with visa numbers.
C. HUMAN RIGHTS & WOMEN RIGHTS - Will a leading Human Rights supporter like America support the notion that 'women should be forced to sit at home' only because they are spouses of highly skilled labor and hence have to be 'forced to have babies because they are on a H4'?
HARD TO BELIEVE? Just look at wives of H1B workers, many with advanced education and work experience, stuck at home and at risk for social, psychological and physiological degradation and abuse only because they are trapped within the 4 walls and cannot participate freely in the land of opportunity and hard work? They are, for all practical purposes, subject to the restrictions of the Middle-Ages women/wives that were forced out of opportunity and development.
It is EASY for us to get misled by hype and hyperbole when talking about immigration. For a land built by immigration, the very title cannot and should not become a lightening rod!
Respected elected official, I urge you, beg you, beseech of you to please consider the net-economic value and social value that we, the highly skilled LEGAL immigrant workforce continue to bring to the USA.

First off all on what basis you can say there are no jobs for H1B's.
If anybody who already done/experienced any of above cases, please advise on all above quetions with all options/possibilities. Your great experience helps lot of people like me. Please advise.

Hello,
I called USCIS Boston Field office today ( 800 # on the FP Notices ) and the Customer Service Rep told me that If we have already given finger prints then we can ignore the second FP notices. But she did not ask for any of our A# or Receipt #. I asked her to pull out my record based on 485 receipt # and verify if the finger prints we gave earlier are correct and we do not have to worry about the second finger prints notices. She said she cannot do that.
SO, I got Infopass appointment for tomorrow. If at all, the officer says tomorrow that I do not have to worry about the second FP notices then what should I do ???
1) Do they send any kind of letter in mail saying I should ignore the second set of FP notices. ( OR )
2) Should I ask for any thing in writing saying that we are good with the finger prints we already gave and do not have to worry about the new notices (OR)
3) Do they put any stamps and write on our new FP original notices saying Finger Prints not required for the second time.

Here is my story, Immigration experts are requested to suggest.......
My H1 started from Oct 05 with Employer A.
Applied Labor in Feb 07, Approved in Feb 07.
I-140 approved in May 07.
Applied I-485 in July 07, still pending.
EAD, AP received in Oct 07 - Expired in Oct 08 (Never Used)
Renewed EAD in Oct 08, valid till Oct 2010.
In Oct 08 H1 expired (3 years), Employer A filed for extension in Sep 08.
The project with Employer A finished on Nov 22, 08. (on H1)
Started new project with Employer B on EAD from Nov 24, 08.
(AC21 was not filed)
Employer A responded an RFE for H1 extension in Jan 09. (3years of Tax
Returns, W2, etc)
Due to miscommunication between me and Employer A, he was notified of my
new job on EAD with Employer B in march 09.
H1 Extension with Employer A got REJECTED on April 26, 09. Reason - End client
contract not submitted. (It was not mentioned in RFE)
Never filed an AC21.
What should I do now ? Will this H1 extension rejection become an
obstable in getting I-485 approved ? Will there be any problem in getting

The attorney was not reachable by HR or myself. HR calls me today about problem with H4 and the attorney wants to discuss. What the heck ? Do they file I-539 when some one is not in the country ? She and I always maintained proper status. What can be the problem? I am freaking out to get my h1 ext approval asap and bring her back to file 485. Now my head is exploding. Any clues ? I cant bear this suspense.
Once your wife is not in this country..she would not be eligible to file 539...
But I do not think your head needs to explode...All you have to do now is to send your extension papers to wife back home and get her H4 stamped...
Without a stamp she cannot come back and by leaving country she abandoned the I539....
It is OK ...you shall live....Your attorney is gonna tell you the same thing tomorrow..

I applied I-140 in PP last week of June and got approved in 3 days. And got
email approval notice in three days.
But after one week only I got receipt and approval notice on the same day.
My lawyer refused to file with email approval notice. This is the reason I missed
to file my my 485 on June28th/29th.

Amsterdam- you don't need transit visa, same with brussels or Frankfurt

I got exact query.
All you need is Affidavits from you Father, Mother and any other close relative. Ask them to go to your local court house. There will be people sitting there who do prepare affidavits and notarize them. They need to do it on 10 Rupees stamp paper and get it notarized. They shall have the date of birth affidavit template at court house.
Once they have them, ask them to scan and send them to you to save time. Also ask them to DHL the originals so that you could recieve in 2 or 3days.

My parents are scheduled to travel on Monday via delta flight to India via Paris. As you all know all European flights are either cancelled or postponed and paris airport is currently closed. Their I-94 date is 19-April.
They will travel on next available flight if we find that monday flight is cancelled (which is likely). Assuming that their travel is cancelled or postponed, it is evident that they will most likely pass their I94 date.
What should we do in such situation? Just trying to understand any steps we need to take in advance if we have to notify any authority etc.

What should we do in such situation? Just trying to understand any steps we need to take in advance if we have to notify any authority etc.

This will be a problem for all the people whose cases gets transfered from other centers to NSC or TSC. May be it is just the receipt date of transfer notice... Not the actual 485 application ? A clarification from USCIS would help
