Thanks for the review. I am really excited about this product and will be getting one when i get an iPod Photo for sure. I have a question that I have not heard anywhere. Does the Camera Connector support USB 2 with cameras that support it, or is it strictly USB 1.1? If it did USB 2 that would be awesome. I will probably buy it either way, but just curious.

I get tired of these threads where people think windows is the problem. Windows is doing far more when in the background when you are staring at a blank screen than Mac OS. At the same time however, you can run far more apps in windows than Mac OS X before anything starts slowing down or becomes unstable. Finally, it is also an issue of the hardware as netbooks can get better battery life with windows than your MacBook. So to answer your question, nothing is wrong with windows.

Hey my fellow macrumors users I could use some advice. A couple of friends of mine just got the new pokemon game and its seriously making nostalgic for when I used to play back in the day (I was a serious player of the first 3 generations of the pokemon games, the ones for gameboy color and the first on for gba).

Haven't had experience with either kb; I heard mechanical keys are better for typing. Still, if you are looking for a nice keyboard, you could try the Kensington Slimtype. It's nice, and doesn't cost a lot.

I did but sorta regret it ... it's not SO unstable that it's unusable, but some features such as no Rosetta and the few bugs that make it annoying to use, do make me regret upgrading. Thankfully updates are coming regularly so things are only improving, and I dual-boot into W7 whenever something needs to get done bug-free.

i used to do a lot of traveling and my PSP kept me
if you're into old school, i got a lot of play out of the Pirates! remake for the PSP and it's at bargain bin prices now.
I second the vote for pirates!. It nice and mostly open ended too, so if you get bored playing game of it, you can play it again and have different results if you will. The other game game for my psp i have enjoyed a lot is burnout legends, nothing like crashing cars, plus i find that the psp controls lends itself out well to racing games.

You have to use something like Dynamic DNS to help you find your network from the outside world and you also have to forward the correct ports on your router.
If all this sound foreign to you, you might find it much easier to use a service like logmein.com, which needs no additional configuration.

I bought a speck case, received two by accident. Either way, both did not attach to the bottom of the air in the right... always flexed. Both (clear) got dirty and scratched very quickly as well. I just bought a black Incipio case... great case. Two cons though... covers the apple logo and prevents a mini display port cable from fully touching the metal body. But it works perfectly for me, love it.

OK, that explains why I couldn't replicate the problem with my 6-character password. But there's nothing important on my system so I think I can wait for a fix rather than change (and subsequently forget) my password.
It'll be interesting to try this after installing the 14/7/03 security update. It apparently fixes the 2048 character overflow in the screensaver password, but there's a (small) chance it'll fix this one too.

Unfortunately i would go ahead and say to see if you could get a new macbook. Of course you should bring it to an Apple store and see how much it would be to get them to fix it... if it isn't too much I'd get it fixed but... the MBPs are really nice.

No, see that's the problem. I can't figure out how to forward request to IP #2 to the server on the alternate ports.
It always goes to the server on port 80 (apache).
What I need to figure out is how to get the request on that 2nd IP to forward to the alternate ports (where the ruby server is running).
