I wonder if this also resolves the magenta-shifting of highlights that I've been experiencing with Canon EOS 1D3 and PowerShot S60 .CR2 files...

Dude, zarathustra, that photo of the Pismo in the Microsloth promo is so damn funny. And that is totally a Pismo, look at the light bouncing off the back of the lid. Anyone who's owned a Pismo knows those curves and their rubbery touch.

Keynote and Pages are really coming along nicely, especially Pages IMO. Nice to see these updates, especially to acknowledge the recent Aperture update. Other features/updates would have been nice as well, but not a big deal...

I have a 1TB WD Caviar Black drive as an external and I'm glad they put in the Seagate in mine.
My Caviar Black is fast, but it's a lot of clicking and seeking.
I also have a Caviar Green and a Caviar Blue, the green being my favorite as it's pretty silent.
I can't hear my Seagate drive at all even when transferring documents at full tilt.
I have to say, I'm used to SSDs but I think I'll be OK with this drive until Lion is released and hopeful the Intel SSD 320s drop in price and I get the nerve up to open this baby up and do some surgery... :rolleyes:

I simply use the process killer in SBSettings to kill the offending app, which takes away it's banner ad also. Is this whole wallpaper ads thing part of the iAds discussion? 'keep apps free' and all that?

May I suggest that you backup your Photos and other imprtant data to optical medaia (DVD-R/CD-R)?
They are backed up on DVD-R's and on a FW Hard Drive (and on my iPod). Maybe too many backups :)

I was browsing the iTMS today and I have never created an account so I decided to try, but then I got to the point where it asks for your credit card info. I was wondering, is there a fee at all to register an account? There are also G4 optimized builds of Camino here (http://www.rpm-mozilla.org.uk/index.html). A 1.33GHz G4 iBook would use the "7450" build.
