The talkie portions of both films are almost over. What remains is some patchwork and a song or two which will be picturised overseas. Director M Raja, who is busy with Velayudham, says, "We have almost completed the entire talkie portion of the film and have to shoot two songs. The post-production work will take a month. We are looking at a mid-August release." The producer of Mankatha, Dhayanidhi Alagiri had recently, through a tweet, confirmed that his film would be released in August.
