Velayutham goes to Ladhak..

'Velayudham' that stars Vijay, Hansika and Genelia is directed by 'Jayam' Raja. The team is currently traveling to Ladhak for a ten day shoot schedule. Ladhak and its naturally scenic beauty has always called for 'n' number of shoots from the film industry, within and outside our country.


Meanwhile, post-production work has started side-by-side, and is going at a brisk pace.
Also , Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that 'Velayudham' will see an audio launch by mid-July, we must remember that the movie was launched in mid-July as well, it went on floors by July 15, 2010 and the audio launch will be in mid-July this year!
'Velayudham' sees Vijay as a villager, who comes to the city to withdraw the money he has invested in a chit fund company, where shock awaits him as he understands that he has been cheated. Circumstances throw him into donning the role of superhero Velayudham, a character sketched by Genelia in the film. While Genelia plays a TV journalist, Hansika Motwani plays Vijay's love interest.

Grand Function!

Sun Pictures and Ilayathalapathy Vijay is going to have a big bash audio launch of their Sura on Monday (March 29) evening at Lady Andal auditorium on Harrington Road in Chennai.

Vijay wants to make it a memorable evening as Sura is his 50th Golden Jubilee film which has music by his favourite Mani Sharma. The star has called all his heroines who have worked with him for this unique function.
Vijay and his Sura heroine Tamannaah are expected to be back in Chennai from Christchurch in New Zealand on Sunday morning where they had gone to shoot for the last song in the film.
